Large-Sized Manganese-Decorated Redware Flowerpot with Saucer, PA origin, 19th century, flaring pot with tooled shoulder and crimped rim, manganese-decorated with streaks to the body and daubs around the rim, applied under a clear lead glaze. Includes separately-thrown crimped saucer with lead-glazed surface. Pot with wear to rim area and shoulder molding, a narrow in-the-firing ping to shoulder, and very minor wear to exterior. Saucer with wear and a small chip to rim. H 9 1/4" ; Diam. (at rim) 10 3/4".
