One-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Baltimore, MD, circa 1880, ovoid pitcher with short, flaring collar, brush-decorated with a double-blossomed plant ascending the front. Swag decoration to spout. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Two cracks in handle form a somewhat loose 1 1/2" section of handle. A crack descending from base of handle, forming a large H-shaped crack in underside, which also continues onto proper right side of pitcher, forming a 6 1/2" Y, as well as onto base of proper right side of pitcher, forming a thin spider crack. H 11".
