Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to Richard C. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1885, ovoid pitcher with footed base and tooled accents to body and collar, brush-decorated with a flowering plant ascending the front. Swag decoration to collar and spout. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Exfoliation to cobalt. Wear to front of spout. Some additional surface wear to body of pitcher. An approximately 1" line from rim on proper left side of spout. A tight spider line to underside, not visible on interior. H 9 1/4".
