Two Pieces of Cobalt-Stenciled Stoneware, Stamped "F.H. COWDEN / HARRISBURG," PA origin, circa 1880, a two-gallon bowl and two-gallon ovoid jar, each featuring a different stenciled design resembling a snowflake. Bowl with a wide top-to-bottom crack from rim on reverse, rim chips, and staining. Jar with staining, light surface wear, and two minor rim chips. H (of taller) 9 7/8".
