Cobalt-Stenciled Stoneware Canning Jar with Louisville, KY Advertising, Western PA origin, circa 1875, tapering jar with tooled shoulder and rounded "wax sealer" rim, featuring the stenciled advertising, "McCARTHEY / &/ BAYLESS / LOUISVILLE.KY." A thin T-shaped crack at base, measuring 2 3/4" x 1", extending 1 1/2" onto underside. H 8 3/8".
