One-and-a-Half-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Stenciled "T.F. REPPERT / GREENSBORO / PA.," circa 1880, ovoid jar with flattened rim, featuring T.F. Reppert maker's stenciling surrounding a stylized stenciled foliate motif. Freehand stripe decoration to shoulder and base. Base with freehand "1 1/2" flanked by flourishes. Excellent condition with minor surface wear to reverse and minor staining to proper left side of jar's front. H 9 1/8".
