Two-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Stenciled "WARNER & RUSSELL / BRIDGEPORT, W. VA.," circa 1885, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, featuring diagonal maker's stenciling featuring two opposing arrows at the center and diamonds below. Cobalt-script "2" above. Areas of surface wear. An in-the-firing contact mark at base on reverse. H 11 1/4".
