Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Canning Jar with Wheeling, WV Advertising, Western PA origin, circa 1880, cylindrical jar with recessed "wax sealer" rim, featuring the stenciled advertising, "H.F. BEHRENS. / GROCER. / 2217 & 2219 / MARKET STREET / WHEELING. W. VA. / SOUTH BRANCH 3601 / JACOB ST." Excellent condition with two small chips to interior of rim and minor surface residue. H 6 3/4".
