Rare Spottswood, NJ Stoneware Advertising Jug, attributed to the Fulper Pottery, Flemington, NJ, circa 1900, cylindrical jug with tooled spout and Bristol-slip-glazed surface, featuring the cobalt advertising, "C.P.A. Bloess. / Fine Groceries, / Spottswood . / N.J." A shallow 7/16" spout chip and minor spout nick. A shallow 7/16" chip to handle. A few small base chips. Some in-the-firing flaws including some glaze spalling and pings. H 9".
