Two-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Elaborate Cobalt Foliate Decoration, attributed to Somerset Potters Works, Somerset, MA, circa 1870, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, applied lug handles, and semi-rounded rim, decorated with a brushed and slip-trailed abstract design of a looping, spotted line within a wreath. Provenance: William Bouck Collection. Rim chips. Some minor water glass staining to exterior. H 8 5/8".
