Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "F.B. NORTON SONS, / WORCESTER MASS," circa 1880, semi-ovoid jug with tooled spout, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a tall daisy plant. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and capacity mark. Provenance: William Bouck Collection. Some fry to cobalt. A small spout chip. Two minor in-the-firing spout chips. Some staining. H 13 1/2".
