Stoneware Jar with Cobalt-Stenciled Floral Motif, Western PA origin, circa 1875, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and recessed "wax sealer" rim, decorated with a diagonally-stenciled design of a flower blossoming from a leafy stem. A small chip and light wear to inner wax sealer rim. Light wear to cobalt. Some staining. H 6 3/4".
