Strasburg, VA Stoneware Jug and Unusual The Shenandoah Pottery Book Order Form, a one-gallon semi-ovoid jug, impressed "J.M. HICKERSON / STRASBURG / VIRGINIA," within a circular border with star at center, paired with a two-sided order form for the 1929 book, The Shenandoah Pottery, by A.H. Rice and John Baer Stoudt, including color images of Shenandoah Valley pottery. Jug with light surface wear and some whitish residue to surface and an in-the-firing stone ping to shoulder. Order form with some staining and two minor tears. H (of jug) 11 3/4" ; Dimensions (of order form): 9" x 6 1/16".
