Small-Sized Iron-Dipped Stoneware Jug, attributed to Chester Webster at the Edward Webster Pottery, Fayetteville, NC, circa 1820, ovoid jug with tooled spout and rounded mouth, the surface dipped in a reddish-brown iron slip and covered in a light salt glaze. Excellent condition with a minor chip to interior of spout, a minor base chip, and an in-the-firing contact mark near base. H 10 3/4".
