One-Gallon Celadon-Glazed Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "JOHN BELL / WAYNESBORO'," PA origin, circa 1850-1880, semi-ovoid jug with short spout, brush-decorated with spotted tulips against a grayish celadon-glazed ground. Base of handle with brushed swags. Poorly restored handle and minor black paint residue. Otherwise excellent condition. H 11 1/2".
