Rare Copper-Glazed Redware Jug, Stamped "JOHN BELL / WAYNESBORO'," PA origin, circa 1850-1880, ovoid jug with tooled shoulder and squared spout, the surface covered in a rare dark-green lead-and-copper glaze with iron flecking throughout. Very nice condition with a shallow 1 3/8" flake to underside, two small base chips, light wear to interior of spout, and minor surface wear. H 12".
