Two Pieces of Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1880, a three-gallon cylindrical jar with brushed clover plant motif on front and reverse, paired with a one-and-a-half-gallon milkpan with clover and stripe decorations. Jar with tight cracks to base area, extending partway up body of jar. Milkpan with rim chips, a 1 7/8" flake to spout, a 1 3/4" in-the-firing chip to underside, two other smaller in-the-firing chips to underside, and an in-the-firing base chip with U-shaped line. H (of jar) 14" ; Diam. (of milkpan) 12 1/8" ; H (of milkpan) 6".
