Two-Gallon Glazed Stoneware Jar, Stamped "J.H. STONE," Buncombe County, NC, late 19th century, semi-ovoid jar with slightly-flared rim and arched lug handles, the interior and exterior surface covered in a brown glaze. Impressed with J.H. Stone maker's mark and a two-gallon capacity mark below one handle. Excellent condition with a minor nick to end of one handle and other minor wear. H 13".
