Glazed Stoneware Jar, Stamped "JOHN BELL / WAYNESBORO'," PA origin, circa 1850-1880, cylindrical jar with squared rim, the surface covered in a clear glaze over a beige ground with base clay visible throughout in the form of gray spotting. Provenance: From a forty-five-year VA collection. A hairline across underside, continuing 3" up body of jar. H 5 7/8".
