Glazed Redware Vase, Stamped "WINCHESTER POTTERIES VA," Theodore "Thedy" Fleet at the Round Hill Pottery, Frederick County, VA, circa 1930, ovoid vase with footed base and tall collar, the exterior coated in a blackish lead-and-manganese glaze, the interior coated in a clear lead glaze over a mottled orange ground. Underside with Winchester Potteries maker's mark within an apple. Provenance: From a forty-five-year VA collection. Very nice condition with an in-the-making glaze void at shoulder and minor rim wear. H 9 1/4".
