One-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Bird Decoration, Stamped "W. ROBERTS BINGHAMTON N.Y.," circa 1870, cylindrical jug with semi-squared spout, decorated with a slip-trailed bird perched on a stylized, looping branch. Slip-trailed cobalt highlight to maker's mark. Provenance: William Bouck Collection. Excellent condition with a 5/8" base chip and very minor surface wear. H 10 1/2".
