Very Rare Black-Painted Stoneware Vase, Stamped "FORT EDWARD, N.Y.," fourth quarter 19th century, ovoid form with footed base, applied lug handles, and crimped rim, the surface painted black. Underside with Fort Edward, N.Y. maker's mark. Provenance: William Bouck Collection. Excellent condition with some paint wear. H 8 5/8".
