Three-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "J. HEISER / BUFFALO .N.Y," circa 1852-1856, ovoid jug with semi-rounded spout, brush-decorated with a double-blossomed stem accented with spots. Cobalt highlight to maker's mark. A small spout chip. A 3 1/8" diagonal line to shoulder. Some fry to cobalt. Stained spots to proper right side. H 15".
