Rare One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar with Poca, WV Advertising, Western PA origin, circa 1880, semi-ovoid jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, featuring the stenciled advertising, "R.N. LILLY / DEALER IN / GEN. MERCHANDISE / POCA. W. VA." Some wear to cobalt and areas of in-the-firing flashing to body of jar. H 9 5/8".
