Manganese-Decorated Redware Chamberpot, Philadelphia, PA origin, mid 19th century, ovoid form with footed base, tooled shoulder, flattened rim, and ribbed handle, decorated throughout with dark manganese sponging under a clear lead glaze. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. Diam. 6 3/4" ; H 4 5/8".
