Rare Glazed Redware Egg Cup with Marbled Slip Decoration, American, circa 1800-1840, thin-walled, ovoid form on pedestal base, the surface decorated with marbled bands of yellow slip and covered in a clear lead glaze. Provenance: From a fifty-year New England collection. Very nice condition with a thin and very shallow 5/8" flake to underside along bottom edge and a minor chip to underside along bottom edge. H 2 1/8".
