Two-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "HARRINGTON & BURGER / ROCHESTER / ROCHESTER," NY State origin, circa 1852-1854, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, squared rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a daisy plant with spotted blossom and three buds. Slip-trailed "2." to shoulder. Cobalt accents to maker's mark. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with some in-the-firing chipping to underside along edge and some minor staining. H 9 1/4".
