Two Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jars, Mid-Atlantic origin, 19th century, both of cylindrical form, one with brushed tulip blossoms around the shoulder, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1825; paired with a two-gallon jar with stenciled and freehand decoration, stenciled "WILLIAMS & REPPERT. / GREENSBORO. PA." Smaller jar with an inverted Y-shaped crack from rim, a rim chip, and some fry/wear to cobalt. Larger jar with wear to cobalt and residue to surface. H (of smaller) 8 3/4".
