Two-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1850, ovoid pitcher with footed base and tooled rim, brush-decorated with a hanging fan-shaped floral motif flanked by swags. Additional swag decoration to collar and spout. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Significant restoration to spout. A 4" restored crack from rim. A Y-shaped hairline to underside. H 13".
