Rare and Fine Tanware Bust, OH or possibly Western PA origin, circa 1885, hand-modeled bust of a mustached man wearing a jacket and bow tie with incised details throughout. Composed of a grayish clay with brown slip highlights to the hair and mustached. Provenance: George H. Meyer Collection; Ex-Herbert Hemphill Collection; Ex-David Good. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 5".
