One-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Clover Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1870, ovoid pitcher with flared collar and semi-rounded rim, brush-decorated with five clovers around the body and four along the collar. Dashed brushwork to spout and cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Provenance: From a forty-five-year VA collection. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 10 3/4".
