Quart-Sized Stoneware Jug, attributed to Chester Webster at the Edward Webster Pottery, Fayetteville, NC, circa 1820, ovoid jug with footed base and rounded mouth, included with a signed, notary public stamped card indicating it was made by Chester Webster and excavated by Quincy Scarborough at the Edward Webster pottery in September of 2005. A filled 1 3/8" section to handle. Minor base chips. A minor in-the-firing ping at base. H 11".
