Tanware Pitcher, New Geneva or Greensboro, PA origin, circa 1885, ovoid pitcher with slightly-flared collar, brush-decorated in Albany slip around the body with an undulating fuchsia vine design. Dash decoration to collar. Stripe decoration to rim, base of collar, and base of pitcher. Albany slip highlight to upper handle terminal. Excellent condition. Underside with black charcoal pencil initials, "IEX." H 9 1/2".
