Large-Sized Multi-Glazed Redware Egg Cup, attributed to J. Eberly & Co. or S. Bell & Sons, Strasburg, VA, circa 1890, ovoid form on stepped pedestal base, the surface coated in cream-colored slip, decorated with splashed copper and manganese, and covered in a clear lead glaze. Very nice condition with a minor base chip, a 1 1/4" line to base extending 1" onto underside, and some extremely minor base wear. H 3 1/2".
