Three-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "LYONS," Thompson Harrington, Lyons, NY, circa 1860, ovoid jug with thick, semi-rounded spout, decorated with a brushed and slip-trailed design of a flower with ruffled edge. Slip-trailed "3" to shoulder. Provenance: Ex-Betty and Joel Schatzberg, Riverside, CT. A 1" chip to underside at edge. A small base chip. Mottling and in-the-firing iron deposits to surface. H 17".
