Rockingham Toby Shaving Mug, Stamped "E. & W. BENNETT, / CANTON AVENUE / BALTIMORE, M.d," mid 19th century, cylindrical mug with relief toby motifs on the front and reverse, receptacle on interior of rim, and twig-form handle, the surface covered in a mottled brown glaze over a cream ground. Underside impressed with Bennett maker's mark. Excellent condition with a 7/8" in-the-firing base chip. H 4 1/4".
