Two Pieces of Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware, American, second half 19th century, a three-gallon ovoid jar with large brushed tulip and bud motif, stamped "COWDEN & WILCOX / HARRISBURG PA," circa 1865, paired with a four-gallon cylindrical jug with elaborate flowering plant motif, unmarked. Jar is slightly out-of-round with some fry to cobalt, some staining, and a tiny chip to interior of rim. Jug in excellent condition with some minor staining. H (of jug) 17".
