Two-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "LYONS," Thompson Harrington, Lyons, NY, circa 1860, cylindrical jar with flared collar and applied lug handles, decorated with a brushed design of two tulips blossoming from a leafy stem. Two freehand-cobalt "2's" above. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and handle terminals. Rim chips. Otherwise excellent condition. H 11 1/4".
