Two Pieces of Stoneware, American, second half 19th century, a small-sized stoneware cream jar with brushed tulip decoration, Central PA origin; paired with a cylindrical crock with salt glaze over Albany slip, stamped with the advertising, "McCARREL & BURNS / RICHMOND.O.," Beaver, PA origin. Cobalt-decorated jar with staining, several rim chips, and a minor base chip. Ohio crock in excellent, essentially as-made condition. H (of cobalt-decorated jar) 7".
