Four Pieces of Advertising Stoneware, Northeastern U.S. origin, 19th century, a small, squat-shaped jug, impressed with the cobalt-highlighted advertising, "TUCKER & DOWNES / SPRING HILL / PORTSMOUTH N.H.;" a small Albany-slip-glazed jar, impressed "LESLIE & BLAISDELL / IMPORTERS AND DEALERS, / CROCKERY, GLASS WARE, / STONE WARE & FURNITURE / POTSDAM, N.Y.;" a bottle, impressed "J.C. SCHNELL / SOUR MASH / KILN DRIED GRAIN / WHISKY;" and a condiment jar, impressed with the cobalt-highlighted advertising, "TODE BROS / 72 BOWERY / NEW YORK," with "TB" arrow stamp on underside. Tucker & Downes jug with some in-the-firing chips to bottom edge and wear to lower handle terminal. Albany-slip-glazed jar with some shallow in-the-firing chipping to inner rim. All in otherwise excellent, essentially as-made condition. H (of tallest) 7 1/4".
