Half-Gallon Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Jug, Stamped "JHL," John Henry Long, Crawford County, GA, circa 1890, cylindrical jug with rounded spout, the surface covered in a drippy green alkaline glaze. Impressed "JHL" on handle. Desirable size. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with some kiln scars/residue to underside at edge. Midsection of jug is somewhat misshapen. H 9 1/4".
