Two Pieces of Signed George Ohr Pottery, Biloxi, MS origin, late 19th or early 20th century, a crumpled, ovoid vase, folded into a rectilinear form with depressed rim on both ends, the sides with dimpled midsection and outwardly-flared and pinched rim. Surface covered in a mottled olive-green alkaline glaze and underside impressed "G.E. OHR, / BILOXI." Paired with a bisque vase with pedestal base, tooled body, and rounded shoulder, hand-incised with George Ohr signature on underside. Glazed vase with a 1 7/8" loss to rim, a 1 5/8" reglued section to rim, and two rim chips. H 2 7/8" ; L 4 5/8".
