Three Small-Sized Stoneware Articles, American, 19th century, a quart-sized cylindrical jar with cobalt foliate decoration, attributed to Richard C. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1875; a half-gallon jug with cobalt-script advertising for "F Henniges / W. Barre. Pa", attributed to James Ryan, Pittston, PA, circa 1885; and a canning jar, stamped "WM. HARE / WILMINGTON DE", circa 1875. Unsigned Remmey jar with a restored rim chip with restored crack descending several inches from it, a 1 1/8" base chip, and a small base nick. Wilkes Barre jug in excellent condition with some minor handle wear, a faint line to underside of handle, and some minor traces of old paint to surface. Canning jar in very nice condition with some in-the-firing chipping to base, the underside inscribed "PRICE" in black marker. H (of jug) 9 1/2".
