Two Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Snake Jugs, Stamped "B.B. CRAIG / VALE, NC", Fourth Quarter 20th century, both of ovoid form with incised wavy line motif, each featuring a hand-modeled snake with applied kaolin eyes and covered in a greenish alkaline glaze. Both impressed on underside with Burlon B. Craig maker's mark. Both in excellent, essentially as-made condition. H (of slightly taller example) 8 1/4".
