Salt-Glazed Stoneware Grease Lamp, TN origin, late 19th or early 20th century, wheel-thrown form on pedestal base with flared opening, pinched spout, and applied strap handle, the surface covered in a salt glaze over a gray-green ground with brownish coloration to interior and one side. Desirable, sculptural form. A small rim chip. Some grease residue from use to top. A 1 1/16", narrow in-the-firing flake to bottom edge of base. H 3 1/2" ; D (of base) 4".
