Suitland, MD Tanware Advertising Jug, Western PA origin, Dated 1880, small-sized, tan-clayed, cylindrical jug featuring the stenciled Albany slip advertising, "S.T. SUIT / SUITLAND, MD. / LITTLE BROWN JUG / THE WHISKEY IN THIS JUG / WAS MADE 1869 / AND JUGGED BY ME / 1880". Restoration to right side of spout. A tiny nick and short vertical line to base of handle. H 7 1/8".
