Two Pieces of Salt-Glazed Stoneware, Stamped "E.J. MILLER / ALEXA.", attributed to the Wilkes Street Pottery, Alexandria, VA origin, circa 1865, an ovoid, three-gallon jar with squared rim and applied tab handles, paired with a one-gallon cylindrical jar, both impressed with a mark for Alexandria, VA merchant, Elisha Janney Miller. Three-gallon jar with a 1 1/2" flake to rim, a minor rim nick, and a shallow chip to one handle.
