Five Smith Pottery, Norwalk, CT Billheads, 1853-1880, three for "A.E. SMITH & SONS" dated 1853, with list of types of stoneware sold, including two small images of pitchers; together with two dated 1880 for "The A.E. Smith's Son's Pottery Co.". Provenance: From a recently-surfaced NC collecton, purchased by the consignor decades ago. Two tiny holes to two of the 1853 billheads. All in otherwise excellent condition with typical fold marks and notations. Dimensions (of largest): 8 1/16" x 5 1/8".
