Three Pieces of Brown Brothers, Huntington, Long Island Stoneware with Cobalt Decoration, circa 1863-1885, two three-gallon jars of similar cylindrical form, both impressed, "BROWN BROTHER , / HUNTINGTON, / L.I.", with brushed floral and swag motifs; together with a two-gallon churn with brushed floral motif, stamped "BROWN. BROTHERS / HUNTINGTON. LI". Floral-decorated jar with an in-the-firing chip to front, a drilled lamp wire hole at base, and wear to inner rim for lid. Swag-decorated jar with chips to interior of rim and inner rim for lid, a few minor in-the-firing flaws to surface, as well as several chips to one handle. Churn with large damaged and partially-reglued section to rim on reverse, cracks, and scaling to surface at base, and a base chip.
