Two Pieces of Brown Brothers, Huntington, LI, NY Stoneware with Cobalt Decoration, circa 1863-1885, a one-and-a-half-gallon crock with slip-trailed foliate motifs, stamped "BROWN BROTHER , / HUNTINGTON, / L.I.", circa 1870-1885; paired with a two-gallon crock with cobalt floral decoration, stamped "BROWN. BROTHERS / HUNTINGTON LI", circa 1863-1870. One-and-a-half-gallon crock with top-to-bottom crack from rim on reverse, extending a short distance onto underside, along with shorter to lines to base area. Two-gallon crock with staining to surface, two small glazed-over dents to rim, and a 2 1/2" line on underside, continuing 4 1/2" up reverse, where it forms a Y.
